  1. Rinse with warm water one or several times.

  3. Throw the rice on a sieve, let it drain. You can wash the rice with warm boiled water so that there are no sticky lumps.
  4. Heat milk in a two-liter saucepan. Pour the rice into the milk, stir and cook, often stirring, over low heat (the porridge should boil slightly) for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Before turning off, add sugar, salt, stir, close the dishes with a lid.

  7. You can also "simmer" milky rice porridge in the oven. To do this, preheat the oven to 150-180 degrees, set the baking sheet to an average level and put in a lidded oven pan with porridge for about 5 minutes.

Millet - 1 glass
Water - 2-2.5 glasses
Milk - 2-3 glasses
Butter - 2-3 tbsp. spoons
Salt - 0,25-0,5 tsp
Sugar (optional) - 1-3 tbsp. spoons

How to cook millet porridge:

  1. Millet grits should be thoroughly washed with water (5-7 times) and scalded with boiling water.
  2. Put the cereal in boiling salted water, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of oil and, while stirring, boil the porridge on low heat until thick. If you boil the porridge over too high a fire, the water may boil before the porridge is ready (15-20 minutes). In this case, add 0.5 cups of hot boiled water.
  3. When serving, add millet remaining melted butter to porridge and mix.

Milk - 400 ml
Sugar - 4 tsp (to taste)

How to cook semolina porridge without lumps:

  1. Rinse the pot with a thick bottom with cold water. Pour cold milk. Pour semolina, mix and leave for 15-20 minutes to semolina semolina. (If milk is homemade, it is better to dilute it with water in a ratio of 3: 1, respectively.)
